UPDATE!

Wow...has it really been a month since I posted. I am way overdue for an update. So without further ado, here we go.

November was a fun month...we got to have both sets of parents (or grandparents depending on who you talk to) here for Thanksgiving this year. It was so fun to have family. We also had our neighbors across the street and their 3 kids over as well. It was a full house and VERY fun! With all of those people, we had about 5 cameras and not one of us remembered to take pictures with everyone there! Good grief...I guess that means we were having too much fun. I did, however, remember to get some shots of "Dr. Grandpa" suturing the turkey early that morning...

That weekend Josh was baptized a member of our church (the real reason the grandparents came out!).
What a handsome guy!

Chris's Science Project

Chris was given an assignment to diagram Photosynthesis. He asked his teacher if he could do it on the computer and she told him that he could as long as he drew it himself. I showed him a couple of pointers and he began....
Here is the finished project. I had to call his teacher and reassure her that he did in fact do it all himself. I think I might hire Chris to work for me!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN

We like to be hit all at once in the present department with our kids...it was now Ben's turn for a birthday. My "baby" turned 5 on the 2nd. Yesterday he celebrated with his first friend birthday party. He wanted a pirate party - AARRRRGGH!

Happy Birthday Josh

Josh had a birthday on the 24th and I just realized I forgot to post some pictures of the special day. He had fun taking Krispy Kreme to his class and then choosing Pizza Hut for dinner with the family that night....of course the big hit was the PRESENTS!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!

HALLOWEEN

Halloween is always a fun time around here... enjoy the highlights!

Josh concentrating really hard on carving his pumpkin
(like the tongue sticking out? Chad does that too!)

Chris concentrating on his

And the finished pumpkins....

Halloween was so nice this year! It was about 70 degrees when the boys started trick or treating. Here in our township, they set a time for trick-or-treating. It is from 6-8pm. So at 6 on the dot...all the neighborhood kids are out! This year we had TONS of kids...the streets were literally crawling with kids...it was great!
Here's the "gang" in our front yard just before heading out...
(this is the same group of kids that we get in our
yard everyday after school if the weather is nice)

After trick-or-treating ended, we invited some of the neighbors over for a little party..
Here are the kids reaching into "Fred".
They got to feel his heart, brain, stomach, eyes, teeth, skin, ears, and fingers! GROSS!

Then we put the kids into teams and they had to wrap a mummy with toilet paper. This was a big hit with the kids...they loved it!

Here are the finished mummies!

Happy Halloween!

Ben's Soccer

This was Ben's first year for soccer...he loved every minute of it..esp. that he got a uniform with his name on it. At the end when he got his medal, he looked up and smiled and said, "Oh, my first medal!"

Chris Soccer

Here's Chris's soccer photos (his team won the tournament...way to go Blue Eagles!)

Getting his trophy at the "awards ceremony" after the championship game.

Some really cool mom (hmmm..who could that be?) made this sign for the championship game. Boy, Chris sure has a cool mom! :)

Soccer

Okay, I know that I am getting very bad at updating my blog. Just been very busy (or lazy!) and haven't gotten around to it.

The boys just finished the fall soccer season...Chris's age division goes takes the best teams and they go into a tournament at the end. Chris's team went into the tournament undefeated...and came out undefeated!! They won!!! Chris was very excited about that.

Here are some soccer highlights of Josh...

Here's Josh
