Varias Visit

We had our good friends the Varias' come in town for a visit. Of course that means it's time for a party! We had fun playing Lego Rock Band and the adults enjoyed a game of Bananagrams!

First Cross Country Meet

Chris decided he wanted to join the Cross Country Team at his school this year. He started training with Chad in June and then practicing with his team beginning in July. On the 31st, he had his first track meet. It was blazing hot and the coarse was not shaded at all...not a fun day for a run, but he did great with a time of 15:30 (they run 2 miles). He placed 19th out of about 50 boys. (He had another meet yesterday with about 200 boys running...cut his time to 14:40 ..not sure where he placed, haven't gotten the results back yet, but he was in the top half!).

First Day of School

I know that I have been a bit slow in posting lately..just been a busy month.

August 25th was the first day of school for the boys. They were excited to see all their friends again, but hated to see the summer end. Me? I was kinda excited to see them get on the bus..all three in school full time this year...what will I do? :)

Here's Chris..he is the first out the door for Middle School! This is the only picture I could take, the bus stop photos are strictly off limits according to Chris.

Ben and Josh will still let me take my camera outside with me. Yes, they are in matching shirts, NO, I did not make them do that!
