A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away....

...There was snow at the Rappleyes...and of course the boys mix in Star Wars any chance they get!

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!

Christmas Fun

We had a wonderful Christmas...the boys were up at the crack of dawn to see what Santa had brought. I think we kept Lego in business this year!!

Josh's Party

Josh had a birthday in October and we finally had a party for him in November. He wanted a science party...it was a huge success! The kids all had lab coats (t shirts cut up the middle) and goggles and got to do all kinds of experiments.

The science lab headquarters were located in the garage...

Eww...slimy worms!

Science is messy!

Josh and his cool beaker cake (yes, I did make that...are you impressed?)

The boys loved the "smoke" coming out the top

The grand finale of the party was diet coke and mentos. If you have never done this, you really should give it a try. It was a huge hit! We even had cars stopping as they drove by to get out and watch the fun!

Getting ready for launch...

And BLAST OFF! We have geysers!!!

FIRST SNOW!

It was only a couple of inches, but they made the most of it ....

Zoo Lights

For family night last week we headed out to the zoo to see the lights. It is a popular attraction and draws lots of crowds (kinda like Temple Square). We live about a 60 second drive (literally) from the zoo...on Monday it took us 40 minutes to get there!!!!

Once inside we had fun seeing all the pretty lights...

HALLOWEEN

Here are some more Halloween photos (I know...Greece and Halloween...can't I make up my mind???)

When you live in a house of all boys, you can't carve pumpkins without pretending that you are throwing up (gross, I know...welcome to my world!)

Digging in...

And the finished products...now they're off the trick-or-treat!

MORE GREECE

Here are some more pictures of our trip to Greece.
This is Mars Hill. It is adjacent to the acrpolis and where Chad had testimony meetings as a missionary...the tradition still stands...we saw the elders having a testimony meeting with the mission president..how funny!

Me on top of Mars Hill

Chad overlooking Athens from Mars hill

This is an old monastery on top of a very big hill in Athens. It is calle Lykavitos. You take a big tram up to the top and then you can see out to the islands on a clear day (it wasn't that clear for us, but still very pretty)

Atop Lykavitos

Next up: The Acropolis
