HALLOWEEN

Here are some more Halloween photos (I know...Greece and Halloween...can't I make up my mind???)

When you live in a house of all boys, you can't carve pumpkins without pretending that you are throwing up (gross, I know...welcome to my world!)

Digging in...

And the finished products...now they're off the trick-or-treat!

MORE GREECE

Here are some more pictures of our trip to Greece.
This is Mars Hill. It is adjacent to the acrpolis and where Chad had testimony meetings as a missionary...the tradition still stands...we saw the elders having a testimony meeting with the mission president..how funny!

This is an old monastery on top of a very big hill in Athens. It is calle Lykavitos. You take a big tram up to the top and then you can see out to the islands on a clear day (it wasn't that clear for us, but still very pretty)

HALLOWEEN

Every year I say how much I love Halloween here and this year was no exception. I love how the township we live in sets a time for trick or treating (or beggar's night as it's called here)...6-8pm. All the kids come out at once (and there are LOTS & LOTS of kids...we went thru 4 Costco sized bags of candy this year) including all the "grown-ups". It is just a really fun night to visit with neighbors and have fun. Here's the gang in our front yard getting ready to head out!

FALL

The other day I looked out the window to see the boys and all their friends raking up the leaves to make a leaf pile. I guess they decided that our yard didn't have enough, so they proceeded to rake all the leaves in the neighbors' yards and bring them over to our yard to add to the leaf pile. I guess we'll be bagging leaves for the neighborhood this year...
