HAWAII

Okay, I think we have the whole flood thing somewhat under control and I can now show you some of our trip. I asked the boys their favorite part and they both loved the Kayaking/zip line/waterfall adventure we went on one day...so we will start with those highlights.

Chris and Julie ready to roll...,er, paddle

Chad and Josh

Me and Ben (just imagine me there behind him)

Caught in the middle of a water fight

Chad and Josh getting stuck in the trees

Water Fight on the River

One of the boys favorite things was the rope swing...they loved it!

Here goes Josh

Here's Tarzan Chris

The other highlight of this trip for the boys (okay, the adults too!) was the zip line.

Chris was very excited to do it and was the first one of the group to go down. Josh was not excited at all...we made him go, but he admitted later that it was kinda fun.

Here's our group...all harnessed and ready to go!

Chris...just before taking the dive!

Here he goes!

Here is Chad all ready to fly

And here is poor Josh (he was scared to death!)

And they're off!

Here's Josh at the bottom of the zip line (still not too sure)

Here's me just hangin' around

And here's Chad hangin' around

Okay, there is still a waterfall that we hiked up to after the zip line (and a great embarrassing video of me going off the 22ft. rope swing over the waterfall), but that will have to wait until tomorrow. It's 11pm and my eyelids are shutting!

We were in Kauai. I would have to ask my brother in law the name of the company...he found it for us! (I can't remember the name).

How exciting to go to Hawaii together! What a fun family reunion!! We went to the Treesort (tree house hotel accommodations/camping) in Oregon this past summer and had a fun time at the zip line there. Fun stuff!
Bummer about your floor!! Have you replaced it yet? How does it look?
